Why Music Academia?
“Academia”, by definition , is “having to do with the interests of a University, college or Academy” or “pertaining to the academic world as a whole”. These are the ideas that Music Academia was built upon. The Educators/Performers that make up Music Academia, as well as the content and environment the students are exposed to, are subject to University - like standards. Our goal is to bring decades of practice, knowledge and experience to every student in a professional manner so that they not only understand music and their instruments, but gain insight into the professional world of music as well.
